In response to the early leak of his fourth studio album, 50 Cent has decided to push his album Before I Self Destruct up with the album hitting stores a week before its intended release.

50 Cent’s album sprung a leak last week allowing fans to get a first listen of the rappers LP a month before its release date. 50’s Before I Self Destruct has been on everyone’s mind as the album was scheduled to be released in early 2008.

Rumors suggested that the reason behind the numerous push backs the album received was due to 50’s label, Interscope Records, not being too pleased with the material that appeared on the album.

According to a statement released today, the new release date for the physical form of Before I Self Destruct is set for Monday, November 16. The digital form of the album will be made available on November 9.

To help in riling up a little more interest, 50 Cent has decided to load the album with bonuses and extras – goodies that the leaked version of the album failed to have.

Naturally, 50 Cent is not pleased with the unannounced leak of his album. Though fans may find the album leak to be Christmas in autumn, 50 Cent believes that it is actions like this that hurts music artists.

You expect your album to leak at some point,” said 50 Cent. “But this happened almost a month before we were going to let it out. And it’s not just a track here and there that might hype the album. What’s going on is ridiculous and it’s hurting every music artist. So, for my fans, I’m doing everything possible to get them the real album, with as many bonuses and extras as I can, ASAP.

The physical CD package will also include the Before I Self Destruct film as well as “Two Turntables And A Microphone: The Life And Death Of Jam Master Jay” documentary about 50 Cent’s late mentor and friend, hip-hop pioneer Jam Master Jay of Run-DMC.

Before I Self Destruct is currently available for digital pre-order exclusively on iTunes.
